Our educators have extensive knowledge about special education programs, 504 Plans, IEPs, and academic support that students can receive. We educate parents, children and teens about the resources available to them and how to acquire each resource, as needed. The list of what we do for unique and individual situations is extensive. A consultation can help determine what is needed.
Tutoring Services
The remedial and intervention programs at Emerald Coast Educational Consulting places an emphasis on every aspect of student growth and development. Suitable group sizes and exceptional, qualified teachers allow us to offer a comfortable and inclusive daytime or after-school environment, while ensuring each student receives the individualized attention and support they need. We use diagnostic screening data to help determine student needs and how to remediate academics deficits.
Dyslexia
We ensure that our students who have language-based reading disorders are paired with instructors who are highly-trained and qualified in using research and evidence-based programs that support the remediation of the phonological deficit that causes Dyslexia. It may be necessary to recommend students to NOW! Programs - neurodevelopment of words for intensive remedial therapy. In some cases, we may recommend an in-person The Morris Center clinic.
